I had not intended to put this marble cake up as a blog post and that’s why I have not taken proper pictures. I was just experimenting with the recipe but it turned out fluffy and it had risen well. I had put a picture of the cake up on my facebook page as soon as it came out of the oven and everyone asked for the recipe so here it is friends.
I’ll be baking an Easter Russian Cake, yes I know it’s not Easter but the flavours are so very festive and Christmas is only 119 sleeps away! 😉
Busy and hectic weekend! But I think I’ve cooked and baked more. Also because my 3 year old has the chicken pox and he wanted cake, cake and more cake!
I wanted to bake something special for him and I came across this recipe on YouTube. I’ve been wanting to make a zebra cake for a while and this was the perfect opportunity! My little one was ecstatic and to see the smile on his face…Priceless!
Here is the link to the simple recipe plus it’s in video form so can be easily followed..
First of my two treats! Well three really..If you count breakfast that was made for me too!
Raspberry, vanilla and chocolate macarons! My husband ordered them for me and they were a present from my youngest baby!
We all had one! And OMG!!! They are divine…sweet, crispy, gooey and incredibly tasty and flavourful!
Especially the raspberry one, with a tangy seeded raspberry jam running through it…ummmm!!!
Breakfast this morning was delicious…made and assembled by my husband on behalf of my two sons!
Potato waffle, vegetarian Mediterranean sausages, roasted seasoned courgette slices and juicy cherry tomatoes…Not forgetting the soft fried egg…
To top it off…The box set of Grey’s Anatomy! I’ll be drooling over Mc Dreamy anytime I want now! Soooo very happy!
Thank you boys and lovely husband for these special treats. You really have one happy Mum on Mother’s Day! Love you x
