A Hazelnut Brownie Ice Cream Cake

image

I adore brownies and always have them with some ice cream, so I felt a cake combined with both elements would be just great!  So here you have a brownie based sponge with ice cream in the middle.  Please feel free to add any type of nut or even extra chocolate if you wish.

  1. Rich and chocolatey indeed! Love the addition of the hazelnuts and what a great idea to make an ice cream sandwich out of the brownies! I must try this…lovely 🙂

  3. Did someone say ice cream cake? Oh, it was you, Dimple, should have known. You always, always, make food that makes people drool. This, by the way, is going to get me in trouble the whole day. It’s not like you can see this and forget about it, you know. 🙂

  4. Oh my! This just looks too over the top! I know I am a bit late to the party, but can I pay you to send me over a cake? ….Well, maybe the ice-cream won’t make it as far as Canada. Maybe you can make it for us again some time, Dimple?

  5. This looks sooo delicious. Thanks for stopping by and liking my blog recipe, Red Pepper, Tomato and Kidney Bean Soup! I’d far rather have this though! 🙂
